Gain clarity and confidence in your identity and the potential pathways to go in your life.
Others may have told you that these are the best years of your life, to “live it up” and enjoy it while you can.
And it might very well be true that for the first time, you have many more choices in your life. Maybe this is the first time that you’re finally able to make decisions on your own. Maybe it’s the first time you’re able to make some of your own money, decide where you live, what jobs to pursue, what and with whom you spend your time with, and so much more.
Still…despite all these new opportunities, life somehow feels more overwhelming than ever.
The path ahead is still unclear and you often find yourself questioning every choice you’re making. You don’t want to make the wrong move and then have to start over again. And so, you might find yourself being extra careful before making any one decision to the point that you feel like you’re starting to fall behind.
Why is it that even with all this freedom, you feel so lost? Why aren’t you as happy go-lucky as everyone assumes you should or would be?
And why does it seem like everyone else has their life figured out?
Your concerns are perfectly valid and understandable.
As someone who went through a rather tumultuous time as a young adult and now, as a mental health therapist for young adults, I really hear you and would welcome the opportunity to support you towards feeling clearer about what future feels most right for you and how to work towards that.

* Disclaimer: While I’ve given a glimpse into how therapy may help, I wholeheartedly believe in the importance of customizing the work I do with each client based on their unique needs/wants. Before we start any work together, we will discuss what your goals are and how we can work towards them.
Hi, I’m Gina. It’s an honor to meet you.
Gina Li, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)/ Therapist, California
I am a licensed mental health therapist based in the Bay Area, who specializes in helping young adults, Asian Americans, and caregivers throughout California, break the cycles of intergenerational and relational trauma so that they can live truly more fulfilling lives. This can look like being more gentle with ourselves and others, while also setting boundaries as needed. It can also look like gaining greater self-awareness and true confidence. In summary, this looks like learning how to stay grounded in who we genuinely are and who we genuinely want to be.
